Measures of Progress
Measure of progress are the connecting tissue in your Hoshin Kanri. Measure of progress link your Vision, Goals, Strategies and Bets.
Monitoring your Measures of Progress shows you how aligned your excecution is with your strategy and how effective your strategy is in making the change in the world you want to see.

how do you verify your strategy / ratioalise your choices (early on in workshops / developing new ideas not just when doing the work) you need to be able articulartion the rationale for how one thign will help you achieve another

Measure of Progress (MoP) help us understand what direction we are moving in, before we get to the destination

Measure of Success (MoS) tend to be binary and do not encourage learning and experimentation

For the purpose of your Hoshin Kanri measures of progress help you assess the relationships between your bets, strategies and goals

Measures of progress should cascade i.e. become more granular and specific as you progress from Goals to Strategies to Bets
